Goblins

Goblins are generally a foul and underhanded lot. A tremendous variety exists amongst the various subraces of this species but they all share certain things in common. Goblins are thick skinned creatures adapted to life underground. Their eyes allow them to see in total darkness, but the means is not known as their eyes do not glow as do those of dwaves. This ability gives them an advantage of stealth when moving about in the dark, though it is often offset by other factors, including a tendency to stink do to a lack of bathing.

Nearly all goblins are willing to get what they want through any means, making them thugs, thieves, and bandits. Goblins typically live in areas with easy access to the surface, which they raid for foor, money, and other desirables. This makes goblins more common near mountain ranges and other regions riddled with caves.

Races

Many names come to mind at the mention of goblins. Kobolds, ogres, and gnolls are the most common races of goblins, but others, including many cross-breeds, exist.

Kobolds are very small but make up for that fact with large numbers. Ogres are known for their strength and stupidity, which seem to go hand in hand while gnolls are closer to humans in most respects, including size and intellect.
